SJ Creations Supports - Serving Hands International

Serving Hands International was established in 1982 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to eradicating poverty in areas of the world. Since its, the group has raised funds to purchase shoes, backpacks, food, and blankets for almost 5,000 children.

From the very beginning, Serving Hands committed itself to a path unusual among charities - namely, that 100% of all funds donated to the organization would be passed on to help those in need. To make this plan a reality, a family foundation pledged to pay all administrative costs associated with implementing, growing and sustaining Serving Hands Internationsl. Now, over twenty-five years later, this pledge holds true.

Early outreach programs by Serving Hands included blanket and food distribution in Tijuana, Mexico. Today, Serving Hands International provides support all over the world in the areas of food distribution, housing, medical aid and education and development.

Guided by values often found in a large, close family and by the acumen of successful business people, Serving Hands International continues to expand its mission to help the poor gain self-sufficiency, dignity and hope by assisting them with basic needs, medical assistance and opportunities for education.

Rich and Sundi Yousko, founders of SJ Creations have made several monetary donations to Serving Hands International over the years, and have also supplied backpacks at cost from China, handling all the details and logistics for Serving Hands.
